Business Innovation School of Kazimieras Simonavičius University was founded in 2012 by merging KSU and Business and Management Academy. Business Innovation School offers undergraduate and graduate studies, and trains specialists in the field of business, management and marketing.

Business Innovation School is based on student-oriented learning principles. Methodology of studies, ability to adapt to the needs of students, good relations between teachers, students and administration provide excellent conditions for personal self-development, and fostering of creativity. Small groups of students, customised lectures, seminars, creative workshops, consultations, team work and individual work, business games help students to better understand the subtleties of business and management, and studies become a pleasant and professional occupation.

Most of the students are already employed: they easily get employment, and a good number of graduates set up their own business and study at the Master level. Graduates of Business Innovation School of KSU are most sought after by employers.

Business Innovation School is focused on training modern business leaders who are able to deal with challenges and tasks of the innovative knowledge economy, creating new business ideas to generate added value, implementing them and managing various cross teams, business projects, companies and organizations operating under uncertain, difficult to forecast global business conditions.

Professors

Lectures to the students of Business Innovation School are delivered by Lithuanian and foreign professors and practitioners – experts; the School organizes meetings with business representatives, foreign partners, open and field lectures, most active students are offered the opportunity to take part in training courses, seminars and business events. Classes for students have already been delivered by entrepreneur Ilja Laurs, Mars Burden (USA), Jack Romero (UK), dr. Anil Padhra (UK), Jonny Andersen (Norway), prof. Sergio Seloti (Netherlands) and other professionals in their fields.

Promoting entrepreneurship

Business Innovation School encourages entrepreneurship of university students, teachers, researchers, and creates environment friendly for entrepreneurship and innovation. Teachers of Business Innovation School are actively involved in various entrepreneurial education and business and innovation support projects:

Business LAB – the project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, under the VP2-2.2-ŪM-02-K facility Assistant-4 of VP2-2 priority “Increasing business productivity and improving business environment” of the VP2 Economic Growth Program. The aim of the project is to increase the activity of SMEs in the regions by providing advice on business issues, creating cooperation centres (hereinafter the HUB).

Innovative business promotion (INOVEKS) – a project carried out in conjunction with Visoriai IT Park.
