About the programme
Fashion Industry – the only and unique study programme in Lithuania. This program prepares fashion industry experts who are capable of responding to global changes in the fashion world, predicting and accordingly shaping society’s view on fashion and sustainability in this field.
During their studies, students will gain knowledge in fashion anthropology, psychology, and fashion business creation. They will also learn how to communicate effectively about fashion, organize the market presentation of fashion products, set fashion trends, and connect them with other areas of creative activities. The program places great emphasis on the creative management of fashion products, understanding fashion concepts, and introducing new products to the market.

Eugenijus Skerstonas
Professor
Like all lecturers, I strive to convey the latest and most interesting knowledge about fashion trends, linking them with the history of costume, individual psychology, and creative potential. It is important to me that students learn to think broadly and creatively, and to improve their expression and eloquence. After graduation, opportunities will certainly be plentiful if pursued sincerely and with dedication. Career paths will depend on individual choices and a strong inclination toward specific areas of fashion, such as commerce or journalism.
Deciding what to study was easy – I knew I wanted to work in fashion. The university provided me with invaluable knowledge and inspiration from esteemed professors like fashion guru Prof. Eugenijus Skerstonas. Contrary to common misconceptions, KSU’s programme focuses on fashion business, communication, and management, rather than just pattern-making and sewing.
