On 14 February 2025, a diploma award ceremony took place at Kazimieras Simonavičius University (KSU). During the formal event, diplomas were presented to the graduates of bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes.
At 11:00, graduates of the Fashion Industry and Business Management bachelor’s programmes received their diplomas. Master’s degrees were awarded to graduates of the Organisational Innovation and Management as well as the Integrated Communication study programmes.
At 14:00, a ceremony was held for international KSU graduates who had successfully completed the Bachelor’s programme in Aviation Management, the Master’s programme in Organisational Innovation and Management, and the European Union Law programme.
The graduates were congratulated by KSU Rector, Dr Gitana Neverienė, Vice-Rector for Studies Dr Lidija Kraujalienė, and Chairman of the Board of the National Aviation Association LAVIA, Aleksandras Nemunaitis. In her speech, the Rector, Dr Gitana Neverienė, wished the graduates courage in finding their place in life and commended their determination in pursuing their goals. “Find your place where you can act and make a difference!” she said in her congratulatory speech. She also encouraged the graduates to become KSU ambassadors. “I believe that today you are not closing the doors of the university for good and that you will return as lecturers, alumni, and like-minded colleagues,” said Dr Neverienė.
On behalf of the students, Lukas Šetkus, a graduate of the Organisational Innovation and Management programme, expressed gratitude to the university. “Thank you for the knowledge, support, and, most importantly, the motivation that you helped us maintain throughout our studies,” said Lukas.
Algimantas Žemaitaitis, a graduate of the Bachelor’s programme in Aviation Management, highlighted in his speech that he is leaving the university not only with knowledge but also with connections and relationships. According to him, these elements create invaluable value in today’s world.
Aleksandras Nemunaitis, Chairman of the Board of the National Aviation Association LAVIA, mentioned that he himself serves as an example, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Organisational Innovation and Management at KSU. He wished the graduates courage in their quest for self-discovery and encouraged them to engage actively in various social formats. He also noted that LAVIA, as a social partner of KSU, is always ready to help KSU graduates unlock their potential and seize opportunities.
The musical programme was performed by third-year Fashion Industry student Justė Dumčiūtė, a well-known singer in Lithuania who has won multiple singing competitions.
