Dr. Konstantinos Kalligiannis is an Aviation Expert and owner of K.K. Aviation Ltd. and has a strong aviation focused background both in terms of his academic qualifications (both Master’s & PhD degrees specialized in Aviation) as well as in terms of his professional career as well as in academia (teaching aviation courses in the US & Europe) and in providing airport professional training courses. In terms of his Aviation Consulting Career, he played a key role in major & challenging airport projects: the bid development for the Greek Regional Airports’ privatization (AKTOR Concessions), the National Aviation Policy & White Paper development for the Hellenic Ministry of Transport, the Airport Operations Manual (AOM) update for Pafos International Airport, Air traffic forecasts development (EC Harris). Other high profile airport projects he participated: the Master Plan Development for the New Lisbon Airport & the Portuguese airports’ Privatization Process Tender Documentation development for NAER in Portugal; the AOM Development for the Certification & the Airside Operational Readiness & Transfer for the New Larnaka Airport; the Operational Plan Development for Athens International Airport during the 2007 Champions League Final; The Airside & Terminal Capacity Assessment projects for New Delhi International Airport, etc). In terms of his Airport Professional Training Career, Konstantinos is delivering airport training courses for Abu Dhabi International Airport; for Sudan Airports; Holding Company; for Muscat and Salalah Airports (OAMC); for Riyadh International Airport.
In terms of his Academic Career, Konstantinos is the Head of Aviation Programs and an Associate Professor in Aviation at Kazimiero Simonavičiaus University in Lithuania and a Visiting Associate Professor in Aviation at IUTM Rzeszow in Poland. In the past he was delivering courses for IUBH in Germany, Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Finland; and at the Hellenic American University in the USA.
