Dr. Konstantinos Kalligiannis

Aviation expert Dr. Konstantinos Kalligiannis has been appointed as a head of Aviation Management study programme. Dr. Kalligiannis  is also the lecturer of this study programme (Airport Customer Services, Airport Planning and Management study subjects).

Dr. Konstantinos Kalligiannis was awarded PhD in Airline Branding from Cranfield University (United Kingdom). He has a great experience in the fields of aviation consulting and airport planning.

Talking about the aviation, Dr. Kalligiannis says that “New generation has to invest into education in the aviation field to fill the specialized working place in this industry and to contribute to the development of a country. Aviation industry plays a great role in the social and economic growth of a country. When aviation sector grows, better communication between business centers appears in the whole Europe, the doors for investments opens and new working places are created. I met really professional and inquisitive people at Kazimieras Simonavičius University. They want to study, develop competencies and help to materialize the Lithuanian air traffic forecast. I believe that these students will look for new ways to improve”.
